Thoughts

Words cannot express how grateful I am to have a resource like this to reflect on and remember my mum's life. The fact that there is still engagement on this page so many years after her passing warms my heart, and reassures me that she was a person who touched the lives of many in a significant and positive way. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this page over the years, it has helped me reclaim my faded memories of her. You all carry some part of Rachel's love with you

I went to junior school with Rachel - St Andrews George Street Hove. We were there from about '69 - '74. It was a lovely childhood and we were a close bunch of mates in the class, memories of those days are so clear. The photo with her sisters and friend is Rosalind Mackenzie - Rosalind left the school after a couple of years as her family moved back to Scotland. A couple of Rachel's other best mates were Michelle Kelly, and Catherine Slade. The photo of the dancing was our country dancing day, I only remember us having one of these outside, this is located on the new road behind St Andrews School - Hadlington Street. I always thought about Rachel - and was lucky enough to bump into her years later in London - it made me very happy that she'd gone to the RCA and was doing so well, - it was impossible to imagine when we were at school where we'd end up. Bless you Rachel. Txx
